International integration: Workshop (1st day)

Today, participants took part in the Workshop "Rethinking Humanities and Social Sciences Research in a Time of Uncertainty: The Impact of Russia's War Against Ukraine - Russia's War in Ukraine as a Starting Point for Rethinking Humanities and Social Sciences", which is being conducted under the scientific leadership of Prof. Dr. Margarita Balmaceda (Harvard University, USA) and Prof. Dr. Andreas Bedenbender (University Wuppertal, Germany) (https://www.wiko-greifswald.de/programm/allgemeines/veranstaltungskalender/veranstaltung/n/rethinking-humanities-and-social-sciences-research-at-a-time-of -uncertainty-the-impact-of-russias-war-against-ukraine-russlands-krieg-in-der-ukraine-als-ausgangspunkt-fuer-ein-umdenken-in-den-geistes-und-sozialwissenschaften-153463/).

On the first day of the event, the lecture "Rereading Russian Energy Chains under the Thunder of War" was heard, followed by a discussion and presentation of a series of books by Prof. Dr. Margarita Balmaceda. The event was held in English, but Prof. Dr. Margarita Balmaceda, among many others, is also fluent in the Ukrainian language. This event made a great impression on us: we communicated in our native language, conveyed our vision of the problem to the general public, and found a new true friend of Ukraine!
