Teaching at a summer school in Germany

From August 19 to 23, 2024, Dr. Olena Kotykova, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, and Professor of the Department of Accounting and Economic Analysis at the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding, will conduct a five-day series of seminars at the summer school “XXVIII. Greifswalder Ukrainicum. Wounds of War: Ukraine Two Years After the Invasion” (Greifswald, Germany).

 

The seminar series, titled "Ukraine: Granary of Europe - Past, Present, and Future," will cover the following five key issues:

Agricultural Land Use in Ukraine: Pre-War Challenges

War-Induced Economic Losses Due to Restricted Access to Land Resources in Ukraine

The Impact of the War in Ukraine on Global Food Security

Assessment of Household Food Security/Insecurity in Ukraine

Post-War Agricultural Recovery Initiatives in Ukraine

 

This seminar series aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of Ukraine's agricultural sector, its historical significance, current challenges due to the ongoing conflict, and prospects for future recovery and development.
